Regular Pool Maintenance is Necessary to Prevent Algae

Algae is the most common problem in the swimming pool water and almost all pool owners will face it at one time. You might be wondering how to clean pool and remove algae from it. Algae comes in an extensive range of colours and forms which make it adaptable for almost any condition. Green algae is the most common and is commonly stick to the base and the walls of pool which can create health problems.

Regular pool maintenance is necessary to prevent as well as remove algae from the water. To kill algae and bacteria, many people use chlorine for pool. Though it is effective to remove algae, it also affects the alkalinity, clarity and the pH of the water. To fix and manage the side effects of the chlorine, you will need to add some other chemicals in it.

Rather than using chlorine for pool to remove algae, you can use Algi Block to kill algae. It is as effective as chlorine. When you use it for pool maintenance, far less chlorine is required and so far less other chemicals are needed to maintain side effects of chlorine. As well, you don’t require chlorine at all in the winter.

Swimming pool maintenance is not only limited to occasionally vacuuming it to remove leaves and dust. Pool vacuum cleaner only helps to remove dirt and debris from the pool very easily. These days, inground pool cleaners are also available in the market to clean the bottom part of the pool.

Hey guys, thanks for sharing. I just wanted to post a quick tip for those looking to prevent algae from forming in the first place-- and then if it does form, this little guy will also clear it up for you.
It's the Dolphin Premier, new from Maytronics. And it actually, get this, cleans algae! I know. A lot of other robotic pool cleaners can do a fine job cleaning, but not tackle the green stuff.
Give this a try if you're concerned at all about algae forming in your pool-- which should be everyone reading-- algae is a hassle!
You can see it at www.premierrobotic.com.

Thanks for the post!

Thanks for the tips! I really want to get a trinity pool, but it looks like a beast to clean! I'll probably end up getting a maintenance guy to help me out if I can't figure it out after a while. I found a few videos to avoid getting a pool service that helped me figure out how to maintain my pool on my own. We'll see how that goes!

We get our pool serviced at the begging and end of each summer so it's really clean. What are good things to clean the pool with in between those two deep cleanings? We get a lot of use out of our pool which is a good thing I just want to make sure it's clean for everyone who is using it.

We used to have a pool in our back yard, and it was so much work to maintain. We were constantly getting algae growth all over the sides. One year it got so out of hand that we wouldn't even let my kids go swimming in it anymore. http://poolchlornv.com

Getting regular pool maintenance and cleaning services is something that is going to make you pool last longer and stay looking great. That is one of the main reasons that these services exist. Plus, some people do not know all the steps to take care of a pool in the first place.

We just got our pool cleaned by an Arizona pool service to have it ready for winter, so when do you think should I get our pool cleaned again? I hope you can help me with this one.

I wasn't aware that pools could develop algae in them with the chlorine in the water. I suppose that is only if the pool is well kept, and the pH levels are monitored well enough. I will make sure that I check my pool each day to prevent algae build up.

Microbes the main reason for growing algae in pool water. Pool owner should sanitize the pool water to kill all the microbes present in the pool water. Using high quality filter cartridge would be the another best option to prevent the growth of algae. People can buy replacement filter cartridge visiting filters4less.biz

Swimming pool is the most used and favorite area of our house hence it is important to keep it clean but unfortunately we are not able to clean it regularly. that is why we have hired a home cleaning services who takes all the charge to clean my pool and other home essentials as well. So i think people should also have to hire a home cleaning or pool cleaning services for better cleaning experience.
